Plano-Concave Spherical Lens (PCV Lenses) has a negative focal length and is typically used to cause a collimated beam to diverge as in a Galilean type beam expander or Telescope. Because the spherical aberration of the Plano-Concave Spherical Lens is negative, the Optical Plano-Concave Lens can be used to balance the aberration of other lenses. Simple spherical lens kits feature a selection of Plano-Convex Lenses (PCX), Double-Convex Spherical Lens (DCX lens), plano-concave spherical lens (PCV lens), and double-concave (DCV) lens kit. Simple plano-concave Lens Kit and Double-Concave Lens Kit are an ideal complement to any engineering or R&D laboratory.Offered with a variety of coating options, each lens kit contains our highest quality optics with various effective focal lengths. The coating for Spherical Plano-Convex Lens or Spherical Meniscus Lens not only the normal BBAR coating,but also including dichroic coating and super broad band antireflective coating.
